The Finnish Sauna Builders Tampere is a 4-person outdoor barrel sauna designed for residential backyard installation. Built from chemical-free treated Northern European Spruce and supplied with an 8KW WiFi-enabled heater, it is suited for couples and small families who want a compact 4-person sauna with a longer interior than the Helsinki and no terrace.
Why This Outdoor Barrel Sauna
Longer interior than the Helsinki — the Tampere has a 62.99 in interior length vs. 51.18 in for the Helsinki, because no space is allocated to a terrace platform. Both share the same exterior dimensions.
Compact 4-person footprint — exterior length of 70.87 in fits residential lots where a 6-person model (94.49 in) would not.
No terrace — the Tampere maximizes interior bench space within the 4-person barrel; choose the Helsinki if an integrated terrace is required.
Chemical-free wood treatment — Northern European Spruce undergoes a treatment process that improves dimensional stability and reduces shrinking without chemical preservatives.
No-cut DIY assembly — all components arrive pre-cut; no specialized tools or contractor required for the barrel structure.
