Questions We Get a Lot
EMF stands for electromagnetic field, and low-EMF carbon heaters are designed to minimize your exposure during sauna sessions. Our 2-Person Low EMF FAR Infrared Sauna (Canadian Hemlock) is rated under 8MG, so you can relax with greater peace of mind. If EMF levels are a priority for you, look for that specification listed clearly on each product page.
FAR infrared saunas use carbon heater panels to emit infrared wavelengths that warm you directly rather than heating the surrounding air to extreme temperatures the way a traditional steam sauna does. This means a more comfortable, breathable environment inside the cabin, typically at lower ambient temperatures. Many of our customers find the experience easier to sit through for longer sessions.
Our indoor infrared saunas are designed for straightforward home assembly with interlocking hemlock wood panels and pre-wired carbon heaters, so no specialized tools or contractors are required for most models. Detailed instructions are included, and product pages note any specific assembly considerations. If you run into questions, our customer support team is happy to walk you through the process.
