The Finnish Sauna Builders Helsinki is a 4-person outdoor barrel sauna with a built-in terrace, designed for residential backyard installation. Built from chemical-free treated Northern European Spruce and supplied with an 8KW WiFi-enabled heater, it is suited for couples and small families who want a permanent outdoor sauna with a dedicated cool-down space.
Why This Outdoor Barrel Sauna
Built with a terrace — the Helsinki includes an integrated terrace platform, giving bathers a dedicated outdoor space between sessions; the Tampere and Vassa models do not include one.
Compact footprint for a 4-person sauna — exterior dimensions of 70.87 in (L) × 86.61 in (W) × 88.98 in (H) fit standard residential lots where a 6-person model would not.
Chemical-free wood treatment — the Northern European Spruce undergoes a treatment process that improves dimensional stability and reduces shrinking without chemical preservatives.
No-cut DIY assembly — all components arrive pre-cut; no specialized tools or contractor required.
WiFi heater included — the 8KW WiFi heater ships with the kit, allowing remote temperature scheduling from a smartphone. (Exact heater model to be confirmed — see product documentation.)

Common Questions
Does the Helsinki barrel sauna include a heater?
Yes. The Finnish Sauna Builders Helsinki ships with an 8KW WiFi-enabled heater as part of the kit. The heater allows remote temperature control via a smartphone app. Confirm electrical requirements with Golden Sage Wellness before installation.
What is the difference between the Helsinki and the Tampere barrel sauna?
Both are 4-person models with identical exterior dimensions (70.87 in L × 86.61 in W × 88.98 in H) and the same Northern European Spruce construction. The Helsinki includes an integrated terrace and has a shorter interior length (51.18 in vs. 62.99 in for the Tampere) because interior space is allocated to the terrace platform.
Do I need a contractor to assemble the Helsinki barrel sauna?
No specialized tools or contractor are required for the barrel structure. All wood components arrive pre-cut. However, electrical connection for the 8KW heater may require a licensed electrician depending on your local code.
Will this sauna ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
No. Standard shipping covers the continental United States only. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. Contact Golden Sage Wellness at support@goldensagewellness.com for alternative arrangements.
