Use and Safety
Read the complete TheraPro user guide and the instructions supplied with your unit before use. Consult a qualified healthcare provider about suitability and review each function’s precautions before selecting settings.
The guide warns against TENS use with implanted metallic or electronic devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, spinal cord stimulators and implanted pumps or monitors. It instructs users not to use PEMF or TENS during pregnancy or for 2–4 weeks after delivery.
Do not place TENS electrodes on the head, face, throat, directly over the spine, simultaneously on the front and back of the chest, or on other prohibited skin areas identified in the guide. Never use TENS while sleeping, bathing or showering. Keep it out of reach of children. Stop use and consult a healthcare provider if skin irritation, dizziness, nausea or headaches occur.
